PROJECT DETAILS:
Lancer Associates and South Dearborn Community School Corporation joined forces on a series of significant renovations and additions. This collaborative effort was aimed at enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of multiple district facilities. The high school underwent extensive upgrades, including new carpeting, lighting, and fixtures. A student-run coffee shop was added, seamlessly connecting to the cafeteria, which now features upgraded LVT flooring and a revamped speaker system. Renovations extended to the gym, where new bleachers, locker rooms, and training areas were introduced. The auditorium was enhanced with new seating and a sound system. All second-story bathrooms were fully renovated. We improved the band and choir areas with new carpeting, while the hallways were updated with recessed flooring and epoxy finishes to enhance durability.
The South Dearborn administration building received new HVAC systems and updated carpeting and lighting. At Aurora Elementary and Dillsboro Elementary, renovations included new carpeting, lighting in the media center and admin area, and new playgrounds. We also designed a new athletics facility for the district. This space not only houses locker rooms, training rooms, storage space, and office space for the high school’s football team, boys’ and girls’ track team, and coaches but also provides a modern and comfortable environment for their student athletes to train and prepare for games and tournaments.
