PROJECT DETAILS:

North White School Corporation’s program for a new elementary school addition originally included a single court basketball gymnasium that could double as a program space and could seat 450 people when required. After multiple program meetings with the school corporation staff, we determined the Owners mainly wanted a two-court gymnasium that could host tournaments and still function as a program space.

Working closely with the Construction Manager and the school’s budget, Lancer Associates was able to combine efficient pre-engineered metal upper structure and wall panels with durable masonry interior and exterior walls at the lower levels to allow the construction of two courts inside the Owner’s original budget.
