PROJECT DETAILS:

The Legacy Living Development will provide a variety of Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living options for Green Township’s seniors. The single-story Independent Living Townhomes will provide gabled garages for each unit, with neighbors sharing a wide driveway for off-street parking. Each unit will include a covered front porch and patio out the back. Exterior materials will include a combination of stone or brick veneer, a mix of horizontal or vertical siding for texture and interest, and dimensional shingle roofs. Traditional craftsman homes have inspired the style of the 2/3-story Memory Care and Assisted Living building with a modern interpretation. The building will include a drive-through Porte Cochere to help delineate the main entrance. Several assisted living apartments will have balconies or covered patios. The common-use areas of the building (main entry, chapel, activities rooms, dining room, etc.) will feature large windows and patio doors for natural light and a dynamic exterior appearance. Some spaces will spill onto exterior patios to encourage indoor/outdoor events and living. A combination of exterior materials, including stone, horizontal or shingle-look siding, gabled roof projections, and architectural features strive to break down the scale of the 3-story building to mimic the aesthetic of a large single-family home.
