PROJECT DETAILS:

Lancer Associates partnered with Shelbyville Central Schools to modernize Coulston Elementary School through a series of interior and exterior renovations. The improvements start at the building entrance, where a new exterior canopy and a better entry sequence make the school more visible and safer for students to arrive.

Interior renovations include upgraded lighting, new flooring throughout corridors and classrooms, updated wall graphics, and new casework that refreshes the learning environment throughout the building. The project also included renovations to the gymnasium, administrative areas, and restrooms to improve functionality and circulation.

A bright, reimagined media center provides flexible space for reading, collaboration, and classroom support while reinforcing the school’s vibrant interior identity.
